Significant Developments on the Algerian-Libyan Border

According to highly reliable sources, it is confirmed that the Algerian army, with air cover, has advanced between 50 and 70 km deep into Libyan territory near Ghadames to prevent the Libyan armed forces from advancing towards the as-yet undefined international border between the two countries, which extends over a distance of 1,000 km. The area is very rich in oil!

Libyan army forces (Khalifa Haftar’s forces) had earlier announced that they were conducting desert patrols near the border with Algeria.
