However, this sudden willingness to open up reveals the true face of the Algerian regime: a hypocritical government ready to trample on its supposed principles in an attempt to break its growing diplomatic isolation. This announcement is a blatant betrayal of the values Algeria claimed to defend and an insult to the Algerian people, who have been fed anti-Israeli propaganda for decades.

Despite growing international recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over its southern provinces, Algeria continues to make it a personal matter.
