Major General Mustapha Smaïli Appointed Commander of the Algerian Land Forces

On November 20, 2024, a ceremony was held to appoint Major General Mustapha Smaïli as the new commander of the Algerian Land Forces, succeeding Major General Ammar Athamnia. The event was attended by a large number of officers and military officials and featured formal procedures of handover between the two commanders.
