“Le Monde Amazigh” organizes a roundtable on “Moroccan Participation in Algeria’s Liberation War”
On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Morocco’s independence and the 70th anniversary of the start of Algeria’s Liberation War, Le Monde Amazigh is organizing a series of activities.
- On Sunday, November 17, a visit will be held at the house of moudjahid Mohamed Khider El Hamouti in Beni Ansar, which served as a center for Algeria’s revolutionary leadership during the war of liberation. This will be followed by another visit to the Dina ship memorial in Ras El Maa (Cabo de Agua), a key site for transferring weapons to the Algerian Liberation Army.
- On Monday, November 18, a roundtable discussion will take place on the theme:
“Moroccan Participation in Algeria’s Liberation War”, in partnership with the World Amazigh Assembly and the Mohamed Khider Foundation for the Preservation of North African Memory.
Speakers at this event include:
- Mr. Hicham Aboud, Algerian journalist and writer.
- Mr. Anouar Malek, Algerian journalist.
- Mr. Oualid El Kebir, Algerian journalist and president of the Maghreb Association for Peace, Cooperation, and Development.
- Mr. Khadir Al-Hamouti, President of the Mohamed Khider El-Hamouti Foundation.
- Mr. Rachid Raha, President of the World Amazigh Assembly.
The event will be held in Nador at the conference hall of Al-Nakhil Hotel (Tangier Street) at 4:00 PM.
