French President Emmanuel Macron reaffirmed France’s commitment to continue supporting cooperative and partnership relations with Tunisia, in the mutual interest of both countries, according to information reported by Tunisian media on Thursday.
This statement was made during a meeting with Nabil Ammar, Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, on Thursday, August 15, 2024, during the international commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the landing in Provence, according to Mosaïque FM radio.
The event, held in Saint-Raphaël under Macron’s presidency, brought together several heads of state, government, and ministerial delegations, the same media reports.
On this occasion, the Tunisian Foreign Minister reaffirmed Tunisia’s commitment to strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations, according to the same source.
