Between the Marrakech Summit 1994 and the Kazan Summit 2024: Algeria Repeats the Mistakes of the Past

Between the Marrakech Summit in 1994 and the Kazan Summit in 2024
Glory to God, it’s as if history is repeating itself!

Algeria, through the stubbornness of its regime, is missing the opportunity to join the BRICS, which rejected its file for purely political reasons for which the country’s leaders are responsible.

This stubbornness led President Putin not to invite Abdelmadjid Tebboune to attend the Kazan Summit in Russia.

Exactly thirty years ago, on April 15, 1994, Algeria refused Morocco’s invitation to attend the GATT summit in Marrakech, where the establishment of the World Trade Organization, which now includes 164 countries, was announced.

Do you know why they refused?
Simply because the summit was held in Morocco!

Algeria missed the opportunity back then, and every time it submits a membership application, it’s subjected to an organization quiz!
And now it is just an observer member.

This is how the military regime runs the country’s economy with stupidity!
