Abderrazak Mokri Denounces Electoral Fraud and Retracts
Former president of the Movement for a Society of Peace, Abderrazak Mokri, could not refrain from denouncing the blatant fraud in the presidential election.
He did so through his Facebook page by posting a statement which read in essence: “The inflation (Note: the exaggerated increase) of the voter turnout in these elections has no precedent in the history of elections in Algeria. From 26% to 48% in three hours. As if millions of Algerians had moved, in a surprising manner, by some unknown force, without anyone being able to see these crowds.
Tebboune did not need fraud. He had, in fact, surpassed his competitors by several lengths. They acknowledge this themselves. However, this fraud in the turnout rate removes all credibility from this election.”
A few minutes later, after receiving over 511 likes and approvals, and generating 142 comments and being shared by 38 followers, Abderrazak Mokri removed his post to correct it.
He published this text: “The increase in the voter turnout in these elections was unprecedented. From 26% to 48% in three hours. Tebboune did not need to fraudulently manipulate the results in his favor. He did not have a single province where he did not surpass his competitors by very significant margins. This was even acknowledged by his competitors. This fraud in the turnout rate removes all credibility from this election. It adds to the expertise of tribal fraud carried out with great skill.”
There is not much change, except that in the second version, he delivers a slight blow to the fraudsters who are none other than the secret services of General Abdelkader Haddad, aka Nacer El-Djen. Knowing the bloody past of the head of internal security, Abderrazak Mokri ended up deleting his post.
